Here you can find demos that give you some idea of the different kinds of games and tools that you can build with StoryScript The tutorials will guide you in how to create these demos. They include the source code, so you can use them to get started quickly. We also created demos for specific audiences to give you a better idea of what StoryScript can do for typical usecases you may be interested in. You can find these below the general demos.

StoryScript can be used to develop serious games, interactive tools and presentations for the humanities. You can bring to life sources, maps, works of art and more by combining text, media and conversations with (historical) characters.

  • Collaboration & Conflict: Voices of the Imperial Circles

    This demo shows how the conversation feature in StoryScript can be used to reflect the divergent perspectives of historical figures. By using several conversations per location, you can also give a voice to people that are understudied in historiography or marginalised in the original sources.
